Kolonaki: Traffic regulations from Tuesday and for the whole of November due to the Metro

Traffic regulations will be in effect from 01.11.2022 to 30.11.2022 and around the clock, in the area of ​​Kolonaki due to works for the construction of the station of the same name for line 4 of the metro.

Traffic regulations in detail:

PHASE 1- SUB-PHASE A’

a) The complete blocking of Patriarchou Joakim Street and its section from its junction with Skoufa Street to its junction with Tsakalov Street in the traffic flow towards Skoufa.

b) The complete exclusion of Patriarchou Joakim Street and the part thereof from its junction with the western part of Pl. Filiki Etairias until its junction with Tsakalov Street in the traffic flow towards Tsakalov.

c) The gradual limitation of the width of the road surface of Patriarchou Ioakeim Street, a minimum width of approximately 4.50 m from its junction with Skoufa Street to its junction with Kanari Street by occupying the right side of the road surface in the direction of traffic vehicles in the traffic flow towards Kanari.

d) The characterization of Patriarchou Joakim Street from Herodotou Street as a dead end until the construction site blockade.

PHASE 1- SUB-PHASE B’

a) The complete blocking of Patriarchou Ioakeim Street and its section from its junction with Skoufa Street to its junction with Kanari Street in the traffic flow towards Kanari.

b) The total blockade of Patriarchou Joakim Street and its section from its junction with Kanari Street to its junction with Tsakalov Street in the traffic flow towards Tsakalov.

c) The gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Patriarchou Ioakeim Street, a minimum width of approximately 4.50 m from its junction with Skoufa Street to its junction with Tsakalov Street by occupying the left side of the roadway, with a simultaneous reaction of part of it in the direction of traffic towards Tsakalov.

d) The characterization as a one-way street of Patriarchou Ioakeim from Tsakalov Street to and until Herodotou Street.

PHASE 1- SUB-PHASE C’

a) The complete blocking of Patriarchou Joakim Street and its section from its junction with Skoufa Street to its junction with Tsakalov Street in the traffic flow towards Skoufa.

b) The complete exclusion of Patriarchou Joakim Street and the part thereof from its junction with the western part of Pl. Filiki Etairias until its junction with Tsakalov Street in the traffic flow towards Tsakalov.

c) The gradual limitation of the width of the road surface of Patriarchou Ioakeim Street, a minimum width of approximately 4.50 m from its junction with Skoufa Street to its junction with Kanari Street by occupying the right side of the road surface in the direction of traffic vehicles in the traffic flow towards Kanari.

d) The characterization of Patriarchou Joakim Street from Herodotou Street as a dead end until the construction site blockade.

PHASE 1- SUB-PHASE A’, B’, C’

a) The gradual limitation of the width of the road surface of Kanari Street to approximately 4.00 m. from the height of Solonos Street to its junction with Patriarchou Ioakeim Street, with the occupation of the left side of the road surface in the direction of movement of vehicles.

b) The complete blockade of the eastern part of Pl. Filiki Etairia and in its section from its junction with Patriarchou Ioakeim Street to its junction with Kapsali Street.

c) The gradual limitation of the width of the road surface of the southern part of Pl. Filikis Etairias with a minimum width of approximately 3.00 m from its junction with Koumpari Street to its junction with Kapsali Street, occupying the left side of the roadway in the direction of traffic.

d) The mandatory course with a right turn for vehicles from Kanari to the western part of Pl. Filikis Etairias, from Skoufa to Heraklitou, from the southern part of Pl. Philiki Etairias to Kapsalis, from Neophytos Vamva to Kapsalis and from Patriarch Ioakeim to Herodotus.

e) The mandatory course with a left turn for vehicles from P. Anagnostopoulos to Patriarch Ioakeim.

f) The determination of the maximum speed limit at 30 km/h for vehicles moving on Kanari Street and the part thereof determined from the beginning of the construction site occupation and until its end, as well as around Pl. Friendly Society.

g) The prohibition of stopping and parking of vehicles on the right side of the road surface of Kanari Street from Sekeri and up to the western part of Pl. Filiki Etairias, on the left side of the road around Pl. Philiki Etairias, on the right side of the road surface of the southern part of Pl. Philiki Etairias from Koumbari to Neophytos Vamva, on both sides of the road of Kapsalis from Neophytos Vamva to Herodotus, on the right side of the road of Herodotus from Karneadou to Patriarch Joachim, on the left side of the road of Herodotus from Karneadou and for a length of 20 ,0 m., on both sides of the Heraklitou road from Skoufa to Solonos.

PHASE 2

a) The gradual limitation of the width of the road surface with a minimum width of each lane at approximately 3.75 m. on Patriarchou Ioakeim Street and in the part thereof between Kanari Streets and the eastern part of Pl. Filiki Etairias by occupying the right side of the road in the traffic flow towards Herodotus.

b) The gradual limitation of the width of the road surface with a minimum width of approximately 3.50 m. of the eastern part of Pl. Philiki Etairias by occupying the left side of the roadway in the direction of movement of vehicles.

c) The gradual limitation of the width of the road surface with a minimum width of approximately 4.00 m. of the western part of Pl. Philiki Etairias by occupying the left side of the roadway in the direction of movement of vehicles.

d) The total exclusion of the southern part of Pl. Filiki Etairia and in its section from its junction with Koumpari Street to its junction with Kapsali Street.

e) The mandatory route with a right turn for vehicles from the western part of Pl. Filikis Etairias to Koumparis and from Neophytou Vamva to Kapsalis.

f) The mandatory course with a left or right turn for vehicles from Skoufa to Patriarch Ioakeim.

g) The determination of the maximum speed limit at 30 km/h for vehicles moving on Patriarchou Ioakeim Street and the part thereof determined from the beginning of the construction site occupation and until its end in both traffic streams.

h) The prohibition of overtaking for vehicles moving on Patriarchou Ioakeim Street and the part thereof determined from the beginning of the construction site occupation and until its end in both traffic streams.

i) The prohibition of stopping and parking vehicles on the left side of the roadway around Pl. Philiki Etairias, on the right side of the road surface of the western part of Pl. Philikis Etairias from Kanari to Koumbari, on both sides of the road of Kapsalis from Neophytos Vamva to Herodotus, on the right side of the road of Herodotus from Karneados to Patriarch Joakim, on the left side of the road of Herodotus from Karneados and for a length of 20, Approximately 0 m., on the right side of the roadway of Patriarch Joachim from Tsakalov to Kanari in the traffic flow towards Kanari.

j) The characterization as a dead end of the eastern part of Pl. Filikis Etairias from Patriarchou Joakim Street to the construction site blockade.

PHASE 3

a) The gradual limitation of the width of the road surface with a minimum width of each lane at approximately 3.75 m. on Patriarchou Ioakeim Street and in the part thereof between Kanari Streets and the eastern part of Pl. Filiki Etairias by occupying the right side of the road in the traffic flow towards Herodotus.

b) The gradual limitation of the width of the road surface of Kanari Street to approximately 3.50 m. and for a length of approximately 45.00 m. up to its junction with the western part of Pl. Philiki Etairias by occupying the right side of the roadway in the direction of movement of vehicles.

c) The gradual limitation of the width of the road surface of the western part of Pl. Filiki Etairias at approximately 4.00 m. occupying the left and right side of the roadway in the direction of movement of vehicles.

d) The total exclusion of the southern part of Pl. Filiki Etairia and in its section from its junction with Koumpari Street to its junction with Kapsali Street.

e) The complete blockade of Kapsali Street and its section from its junction with Neophytou Vamva Street to its junction with Neophytou Douka Street.

f) The mandatory route with a right turn for vehicles from the western part of Filikis Etaireias street towards Koumparis.

g) The mandatory course with turning left or right for vehicles from Skoufa to Patriarch Ioakeim.

h) The mandatory route of vehicles straight from Neophytou Vamva towards the eastern part of Pl. Friendly Society.

i) The determination of the maximum speed limit at 30 km/h for vehicles moving on Kanari Street and in the section thereof determined from the beginning of the occupation of the construction site until its end.

j) The determination of the maximum speed limit at 30 km/h for vehicles moving on Patriarchou Ioakeim Street and the part thereof determined from the beginning of the construction site occupation and until its end in both traffic streams, as well as around Pl. . Friendly Society.

k) The prohibition of overtaking for vehicles moving on Patriarchou Ioakeim Street and in the part thereof determined from the beginning of the construction site occupation and until its end in both traffic streams.

l) The prohibition of stopping and parking vehicles on the left side of the roadway around Pl. Filiki Etairias, on the right side of the road surface of the eastern part of Pl. Filikis Etairias from Neophytou Vamva to Patriarch Joachim, on the right side of the road of Patriarch Joachim from Tsakalov to Kanari.

Drivers of vehicles are requested to be particularly careful when passing through the work sites and to follow the existing road markings.
