Session and 1st participatory workshop on the future of Coastal and Maritime Tourism on November 10 and 11, 2022 in Athens

Good practices, current trends will be discussed and the European Union’s new financial tools to promote blue growth and sustainability in coastal and maritime tourism will be presented.

The project partners ‘NAUTILUS’sponsored by European Union and the European Maritime and Fisheries Structural and Investment Fund (EMFF), invite the blue community to explore the future of marine and coastal tourism and discuss trends, innovative tools and cross-sector cooperation perspectives for sustainability and sustainability.

More details: At conference which is organized on Thursday, November 10 at the Wyndham Grand Athens hotel, good practices, modern trends and the new financial tools of the European Union to promote blue growth and sustainability in coastal and maritime tourism will be presented.

Her Friday, November 11 the first participative foresight workshop for marine and coastal tourism will be held at the Wyndham Grand Athens hotel, entitled “Coastal and Marine Tourism in 2040: Occupations, Skills, Education”. The workshop will be held with a limited number of people and is addressed to all those involved in marine and coastal tourism (businessmen, managers, adult trainers, academics, researchers, local government, politicians, public officials, representatives of agencies, NGOs, etc.)

The laboratory is organized with the coordination of Dr. Epaminondas Christofilopoulos, Chief Scientific Advisor of the Special Secretariat for Long-Term Planning and holder of the UNESCO Chair on Futures Research, at the Institute of Technology and Research ITE/PRAXI.

THE conference will be held at English language and the entrance is free. Remote monitoring is possible.

The laboratory it is in GREEK language and participation is free. Due to the limited number of places, an expression of interest is required to participate.
