The forensic laboratories of EL.AS will decide if the bones found in a cave in Dervenochoria last week belong to the unfortunate Marios Papageorgiou who was kidnapped and murdered in August 2012.
Ten years later, if it is identified that the bones belong to the unfortunate Mario, a circle of anguish will be closed for his mother, who all these years has not stopped looking for the location of her child’s “grave”.
The bones, which are estimated to be parts of the lower limbs as well as some parts of the skull, were located by a speleological team and have been sent to forensics as Mario’s DNA is stored there.
“His mother is in agony and is waiting for the results of the identification because what she is asking for from the first moment is to have something so that she can build a grave for her child so that she can go and light the candle” says Nikolaos Roussopoulos speaking to skai.gr mother’s attorney.
Regarding the judicial part of the case, according to Mr. Roussopoulos, last week criminal charges were brought against eight more people involved in the case for direct cooperation.
