Prosecutorial investigation into the financial activity of the independent member of parliament Andrea Patsisthe head of the Economic Prosecutor’s Office has already ordered Christos Bardakis in the context of which companies in which Patsis or his close relatives are said to have participated will be investigated with the aim of whether there was tax evasion, money laundering or other prosecuted offences.
The investigation will be conducted by two assistant economic prosecutors under the supervision of a senior prosecutor, a prosecutor of appeals.
The order has already been forwarded to the Economic Crime Investigation Directorate for the first check of the financial data related to the activities of Andreas Patsis, while Mr. Bardakis is waiting to be forwarded the conclusion of the competent Committee of the Parliament for the related matters which carried out a relevant check and announced that he is sending all the evidence he has to the Prosecutor’s Office.
