The Board of Directors of EINAP condemns the attack and harassment of a fellow doctor as well as the threats that the staff of the clinic received even for his life, from a patient attendant, who lost the battle with the coronavirus, on 25/11/21 in his covid clinic “KONSTANTOPOULIO” hospital.
Unfortunately, we have seen similar incidents, which have increased significantly during the pandemic period.
For this reason, we also complain to the Hospital Administration, for its attitude towards this event – since what it did was to propose to the colleague to take legal action against the perpetrator and her support was exhausted in commitments for legal and financial contribution – while it should have been she “comes forward” to protect and support the doctor, in the event of the event
took place at the hospital.
We demand from the Administration and the legal advisor of the hospital to immediately start the legal and foreseen procedures in order to protect the staff and the proper operation of the hospital, as it has an obligation!
