With an official announcement, the ELAS headquarters emphasizes that nothing untoward happened to the 35-year-old Turk
No evidence has emerged against the 35-year-old Turk, who lives legally, with asylum status, in Greece for which a complaint was made to the American security authorities based on which an Emirates flight to Dubai was grounded at Athens airport yesterday and a second one headed to New York returned to Eleftherios Venizelos. This is emphasized in a statement by the Police headquarters.
It is noted that the complaint against the 35-year-old it was done by someone close to him and while he had submitted a request for a visa to the American embassy, in order to visit his family in the USA.

In continuation of the 10-11-2022 Announcement, the Headquarters of the Hellenic Police announces that, following a thorough and detailed investigation by the competent services of the Hellenic Police, no criminal charges have arisen against a person, for whom there was information that he was in one of the two flights of a well-known company and had been classified as suspicious.
