A 35-year-old citizen was arrested on Saturday (November 12, 2022) in the evening in Kos, against whom a felony criminal case was filed for insulting the sexual dignity of minors and an operation to force sexual acts (rape).
More specifically, as it was established in the context of the immediate investigation of a related complaint, the night before yesterday inside a store of health interest, the 35-year-old made indecent gestures-acts insulting the honor of three female students, aged 14 and 13, who were at a school prom.
The perpetrator then, after seeing one of them, namely the 14-year-old girl, leaving the store, followed her and with the use of force took her to his car where he tried to rape her. However, the girl resisted and managed to escape.
The arrested person was taken to the Prosecutor’s Office of Kos, he was prosecuted and referred to the main interrogation.
It is noted that, by the Police Services of the South Aegean, frequent checks are carried out in entertainment centers and other shops of health interest with the aim of implementing the legislation related to their operation, observing the provisions of the Anti-Smoking Law and protecting minors from the dangers of night entertainment, which are intensified.
