A 17-year-old foreigner was arrested, yesterday afternoon, in the area of ​​the Municipality of Andritsaina – Krestena, by police officers of the Krestena Police Department, against whom a criminal case was filed for attempted robbery.
For the same case, a case file was filed for attempted robbery against a 16-year-old foreigner, an accomplice of the arrested person, whose full details have been identified and he is wanted for arrest.
In particular, the 17-year-old, yesterday morning, acting together with the 16-year-old, broke into the house of an elderly woman, in which, after inflicting physical violence, causing minor physical injuries to her head and body, they attempted to take money and jewelry from her.
In order to investigate the incident, an investigation was carried out by the police officers of the Krestena Police Department, who identified the full details of the two minor defendants and yesterday at noon they located and arrested the 17-year-old, in the area of ​​the Municipality of Andritsaina – Krestena.
The arrested person will be taken to the District Attorney of Ilia, while investigations continue to identify his accomplice.
