The model and influencer Yasmin Brunet, 34, said through social networks that she was harassed at the stage of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Interlagos, where she was on Saturday (12). According to her, the security of the place did not act.
“Holding myself not to cry with hate for being in this situation,” he began. “Being a woman is a daily test. Once again harassed and you know what the guy says to the security? That I’m drunk, that I’m making it up. Everyone saw it,” she said.
“A man will never know what it’s like to be a woman. When we feel like a thing, an object, a piece of meat that was put on Earth”, he amended.
Friend of Brunet, model Bruna Santana was with her and also reports having suffered harassment. Both talked more about the case in another video.
“By the time we got up to leave, the boy made an obscene, sexual movement and started to say: ‘hot, hot’, and clap his hands,” Yasmin said. “I went back there and talked a lot to him, because he is very brave in front of his friends”, said the model.
According to her, when he confronted the man he was embarrassed. “I went back and said to him: ‘If I get there now, will you do something or are you only brave like that when we turn our backs to leave?’. Then the guy lowered his head. I said: ‘Do you have daughter? I hope she never has to go through that.”
ORGANIZATION WILL FIND OUT
Sought, the communication of Formula 1 in Interlagos states in a note that it will find out what happened. “We have already started an investigation process to verify any omission by one of our agents”, says an excerpt from the statement.
GP São Paulo reiterates that it repudiates all types of discrimination and moral or sexual harassment and states that this position is expressed in its regulations.
It also states that they adopt measures to curb these practices at the racetrack. “We promote training for the entire team, invest in communication with the public and provide channels for complaints and requests for assistance”.
The note ends with deep regret that Yasmin and Bruna have been victims of violence.
