An advertisement that without speaking has a lot to tell us

by

But this ad is very different from the ones we are used to seeing, since it uses sign language to communicate the message it wants.
So we move to a theatrical setting and the show begins…

The comedian takes a seat and begins to speak. The audience laughs. It would have resembled another stand-up comedy show if there wasn’t something missing. The words. Something that most of us take for granted but for our fellow hearing impaired people, it is not.

The message is direct
The listeners, of course, don’t understand much and… that’s how they understand what it’s like to be blocked from communication.

What is it like to live in a world that doesn’t speak your language?
This is the question posed by PPC’s new campaign, in an inventive way and with an advertisement that those who do not speak Greek sign language cannot understand at first.
And just like that, it puts the vast majority of viewers into the world of the hearing impaired. Where even simple everyday tasks like contacting a service are not a simple thing

PPC, through this campaign, paves the way for social culture, inclusion and excellent service for everyone!

The campaign communicates the new service “Service for all” (serviceforall.dei.gr) recently launched by PPC for people with hearing problems: who can now contact the company about any issue they have through a three-way video call with the presence of an interpreter and the possibility of viewing subtitles.
A service that promotes the concept of inclusion by giving a clear message from PPC: how everyone should have equal access to service and communication.

*Panos Katsis, actor and stand-up comedian from the Deaf Theater of Greece, participated in the campaign, while the audience of the show was exclusively people from the deaf community.
