The case came to light two years ago, when the minor made the relevant complaint. The reported acts had taken place in an abandoned building in an area of ​​eastern Thessaloniki. At the time, seven minors, aged 13 to 16, had been charged, but in the process two of them were acquitted, while the court has now acquitted – due to doubts – the fifth.

To the four who were convicted reprimands, 120 to 180 hours of community service, supervision by a juvenile probation officer, and one year in the Center for Mental Health counseling program were imposed.

They themselves in their apologies denied the accusations, claiming that everything happened with the consent of the minor.

The patient, 16 years old today, was not examined by the court – the trial was held behind closed doors – but the statement she had given to the police was read. On the contrary, her parents testified that they conveyed what happened to their daughter.
