Abandoned on a slope of the Thessaloniki Ring Road, near the Asvestochori junction, was found I.X. car allegedly involved in the hit-and-run accident that occurred around 1:20 a.m. in the city center, with a female victim, 21 years old.
Passing drivers spotted the hit (passenger side) vehicle and notified Thessaloniki Traffic. As it became known, it has no license plates, while its owner remains unknown so far. At the same time, the unconscious driver remains missing and ELAS’ investigations to locate him are in full progress.

As reported by thestival, the incident took place in front of the frightened eyes of dozens of passers-by. Some of them rushed to help the girl, while others memorized the registration number of the vehicle that fled the scene.
