Citroen completes the range of electric LCVs with hydrogen technology to meet the needs of companies whose activities require trips of more than 300 kilometers. This is the e-Jumpy Hydrogen, which is the first Citroen to take advantage of hydrogen technology.
The new model has a range of over 400 km with the three 700 bar carbon fiber hydrogen tanks, which are located next to the battery and can be filled in just three minutes. With zero CO2 emissions, professionals will be completely free from restrictions on roads and urban areas that are prohibited for conventional commercial vehicles.
It has a 10.5 kWh battery, which gives a range of 50 km to the car and automatically takes over when the hydrogen tank is empty. These two power sources combine to power the engine and drive system. The battery recovers energy during deceleration, while it is automatically charged using electricity generated by hydrogen. Additionally, the battery can be charged with a cable at all charging stations for electric vehicles.
The first deliveries of the model to customers with vehicle fleets are scheduled for next week.
