Yesterday he submitted a relevant request requesting that the proposed witnesses be cross-examined with the coroners Nikos Karakoukis and Nikos Kalogriawho, by order of the Prosecutor’s Office, rechecked the data on the deaths of the two youngest children of the Daskalakis family.
He requested that Christos Kravvaritis, medical examiner of the Forensic Service of Larissa, Fotios Hatzinikolaou, deputy professor of Forensic Science at the Medical School of AUTH and Symeon Mesogitis, Medical Examiner, be summoned and examined as expert witnesses.
At the same time, he requests that Nikolaos Karakoukis, Nikolaos Kalogrias and the pathologist Christos Eftychiadis be summoned to give additional testimony, as well as that statements be taken from Chara Spiliopoulou, professor of Forensics, and Georgios Stavroulakis, a cardiologist.
In his announcement, Mr. Kougias emphatically notes that leading professors of forensics and medical examiners are dealing with the case and have reached different scientific opinions in relation to the case.
