Rodopoli: They threaten to tie themselves to the train tracks due to a lack of an ambulance

by

Residents are calling for a solution to the problem of ambulances being needed as patients are being carried on trolleys. As they say, their patience has run out and they themselves are determined to reach the extremes…

On the train tracks they threaten that the residents of the local community of Rodopoli Serres will be bound. The reason is that the ambulance in their area does not work properly and the patients are transported by private vans to the hospital, while residents with vehicles are on “call” in case of an accident

The residents declare themselves forgotten and appear angry. As some say they have gone so far as to do shifts, so that if the need arises, they themselves can transport anyone who needs it with their car. Ambulances do not arrive in the area despite the constant complaints. If, as they say, the problem is not solved, they will proceed with actions that will force the media to highlight what they are facing.

They consider it unthinkable that there is no help from the state when they are sick and that they rely on the charity of their fellow villagers, where they will start with their own agricultural vehicles to transport them to the health center.

Alongside if they don’t get an answer in 10 days in the memorandum they sent to the state, then they will proceed to occupy the health center of the region.
