Attack in a field, while they had gone to pick olives, allegedly received a couple from Chania on Saturday morning in Koumuli, Platanias municipality. As a result, both were transferred to the Chania hospital, while the following day, Sunday, the police arrested the alleged perpetrator.
The androgynous had gone to their field to pick olives, at about 10 am on Saturday morning. At one point they looked for an olive sieve they had that the owner of the neighboring field had allegedly taken and the husband went to the neighbor’s field to find it.
Then, the 47-year-old owner of the adjacent field behaves to attack the man without warning, grabbing him and hitting him on the head. Hearing the commotion, the wife ran to the spot and was allegedly attacked too, with a blow to the abdomen.
The injured androgynous was removed with the help of the husband’s mother, who was also nearby and ran to the scene to see what was happening. They filed a lawsuit at the AT Platanias and then went to the Chania hospital where the man had to be hospitalized.
Policemen arrested on Sunday the alleged perpetrator in the context of the carjacking and is expected to be taken to the prosecutor on Monday.
