Submission of applications for the “Heat Wave” program has begun
A new important corporate responsibility initiative, with the aim of having a warm home for all of us this year’s holidays, was announced by HELLENiQ ENERGY at a special event held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, in the presence of Minister Kostis Hatzidakis and Deputy Minister Maria Syregela.
In particular, through the Program “Heat Wave”HELLENiQ ENERGY takes over to offer up to 500 liters ECO heating oil to families that have at least four children and a low annual family income.
The specific action, which will be implemented by the subsidiary companies of HELLENiQ ENERGY, EKO and HELLENIC PETROLEUM, seeks to relieve those who are particularly affected during this period, due to the energy-burdened family budget.
Participation right families with 4 children or more, who live permanently in Greece and use heating oil in their tax residence, are included in the free heating oil offer program.
In addition, they should be included in the income criteria established – according to the Survey of Household Income and Living Conditions for the year 2021 of the Hellenic Statistical Authority – which, however, have been increased by 10.5% by HELLENiQ ENERGY, with aiming to include even more families.
Specifically, for a family with 4 children, the annual family income must not exceed €20,500, while it increases by €2,626 for each additional child beyond four.
