The president of PASOK – Movement for Change Nikos Androulakis spoke about the rights of people with disabilities on the occasion of the International Day of the Disabled
“We still have a lot to do as a State to ensure a life with equal rights and quality of life for people with disabilities. To respond to the daily anxieties of their families”, says the president of PASOK – Movement for Change in his statement Nikos Androulakis, on the occasion of the International Day of People with Disabilities.
Mr. Androulakis underlines that “a National Strategy for inclusion and living in the community is necessary, ensuring the sustainability of Day Care Centers – Day Care – Creative Employment and Supported Living and Increased Protection Housing”, as well as
“Ensuring a smooth transition from special to inclusive education and increasing the participation of people with disabilities in vocational training and employment. But also solving the pension issues raised by the disabled movement”, added Mr. Androulakis.
