Protesters overturned and vandalized a parked car, next to a burning bin.
Episodes are currently underway in the center of Thessaloniki.
People who had gathered earlier in Kamaras Square for the 16-year-old who was shot by a policeman threw Molotov cocktails, marbles and stones at the MAT forces. Police forces responded using chemicals and flash bangs.
Also, some set fire to bins located in the area.
The incidents continue along the entire stretch of Egnatias Street facing west.
Also, damages were caused to shops with citizens running in fear while the atmosphere in the center is suffocating.
Earlier, a group of Roma, who had gathered outside the Hippocrates hospital in Thessaloniki, set fire to bins on Konstantinoupoleos Street. They are protesting about the serious injury of a 16-year-old of their same sex by a police officer of the DI.AS group.
They overturned and vandalized a parked car, next to a burning bin.
The Police supervise them from a distance in order to avoid any incidents.
Holding a banner that reads “Roma lives matter” they shout slogans and demand justice for the specific case they characterize as a racist crime.
