Parties and gatherings are free in São Paulo. While it is not yet known what the impact of the new omicron variant will be on the city’s sanitary protocols, a public that spent almost two years closed at home is taking advantage of the return of the festivities to live like never before.
The result is an extensive agenda of ballads in the city of São Paulo, with options that vary in musical genres, values, structure and audience. On the same day this weekend, for example, you can attend a party at a neighborhood market or at a pavilion at Anhembi with two stages. You can also choose between a night of electronic music and one that anticipates the 2022 Carnival, which still has an uncertain destination.
Check out below for tips on what to do on the weekend if you’re looking for a party to get out of the house.
And remember: wearing a mask is mandatory while you’re not eating or drinking. The mask helps protect against Covid-19, but also against the H3N2 flu epidemic that hits many cities.
