According to EL.AS. at approximately 8:15 p.m., when the head of the march passed the junction of Panesitivion and Benaki, 1000 people separated from the body of the march and moved in groups through Benaki Street towards the Exarchia area, setting up barricades with objects and bins, in which they set fire.
An announcement about the march that took place on Tuesday afternoon in the center of Athens for Alexandros Grigoropoulos and the episodes that followed after its completion was issued by EL.AS.
As stated in the announcement, at 18:00 a gradual gathering of approximately 8,000 people took place in the Propylaia of the University of Athens, who then marched to Syntagma Square through Paneseptimo, Aiolos, Stadio, Syntagma Square, Othonos, Vasilissis Amalias and Paneseptimo streets. The march ended at Omonia Square around 20.30.

Then, as pointed out by EL.AS. the above individuals attacked police officers in Kaningos Square and at the junction of Navarinou and Arachovi streets by throwing Molotov cocktails, stones and other objects, with the police responding using the necessary means.
According to the Police, 19 people have been brought in so far, while the case is handled by the State Security Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directorate.
