New evidence emerged in the case of his shooting 16-year-old Roma by a police officer in Thessaloniki, during a pursuit. This morning it was also found second bullet nailed to a door of an adjacent hotel in the area of the shooting.

If this is proven it will automatically mean that the accused police officer did not fire a warning shot in the air to stop the vehicle driven by the young Roma.
In a statement on December 5, EL.AS characteristically stated: In view of the immediate danger, the police officers used a weapon (making two shots) attempting to stop the vehicle, as a result of which the driver lost control, crashed into a wall and was transported seriously injured to the on-call Hospital with an ambulance station.
