The arrested person was taken to the First Instance Prosecutor of Thessaloniki
A 42 years old man arrested by officers of the Narcotics Enforcement Team of the Veria Security Department, as part of targeted investigations to combat the spread of drugs, accused of trafficking cocaine and cannabis.
In particular, after coordinated actions, the 42-year-old Albanian was located at noon on December 7, 2022 in the area of Thessalonikiwhere quantities of cannabis weighing 2 kilograms and 160 grams were found and confiscated in his possession.
In a subsequent search of a house used to store narcotics (kavatza) in the same area, the following were found and confiscated:
-quantities of raw cannabis weighing 16 kilograms and 905 grams,
-quantities of cocaine weighing 3 kilograms and 404 grams, carefully hidden under a kitchen counter and
-2 precision electronic scales.
Also, an amount of 530 euros and two mobile phones, found in his possession, were confiscated.
The value of the seized drugs is estimated at over 300,000 euros.
A case file of a criminal nature was filed against the arrested person and was taken to the Prosecutor of First Instance of Thessaloniki, who referred him to the Investigator.
