Announcing the news about the blood-stained envelope, a Ukrainian official notes that it is the same sender who sent similar packages to other embassies and consulates of Ukraine
“They will not be able to intimidate us” declares the representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Nikolenko in the first reaction of Kiev on the bloody file in the Ukrainian embassy in Athens.
Announcing via Facebook the news about the blood-stained envelope, the Ukrainian official notes that it is the same sender who sent similar packages to other embassies and consulates of Ukraine in Spain, Denmark and other countries.
Nikolenko’s announcement
“In the morning, the Embassy of Ukraine in Greece received a blood-stained package. The address of the sender is the same as the other envelopes previously sent to embassies and consulates of Ukraine: Tesla car showroom in the German city of Siedelfingen. The Greek police have started investigations.
“We also expect the acceleration of the investigation by German law enforcement authorities.
»In total, we already have 33 cases of threats in 17 countries: 1 attempted terrorist attack, 2 reports of mine laying, 1 vandalism, 1 written threat and 28 parcels.
“As (former Ukrainian Foreign Minister) Dmytro Kuleba said, no matter how the enemies try to intimidate Ukrainian diplomacy, they will not succeed. We are working for victory.”
