Traffic regulations have been announced by the Traffic Police, according to which stopping and parking are prohibited on 26th October Street, in its section from Polytechniou Street to Egnatia Street.

Meanwhile, the funeral of the 16-year-old who breathed his last yesterday morning at the Hippocrates Hospital of Thessaloniki is scheduled for Thursday.

Upon hearing the news of the 16-year-old’s death, rallies and marches were planned in Athens and Thessaloniki, during which incidents occurred.

EL.AS made two arrests, out of the 26 arrests made, during the protest rally in center of Athens for the death of 16-year-old Roma by a police officer.

In a related statement, EL.AS states: “On the initiative of various organizations and collectives, a gradual gathering of approximately 2,500 people took place in the Propylaea of ​​the University of Athens. After occupying the roadway of the University in front of the Propylaia, the gathered marched through University, Aiolos, Stadiou, Syntagma Square, Othonos, Vasilissis Amalia Avenue and University Street. The bulk of the march, with gradual departures, ended at Omonia Square at 20:35. During the gathering and the march, gradual traffic arrangements were made on the road network where the march moved. During the route and around 7:50 p.m., isolated groups of people attacked police officers at the intersection of the University with Santaroza Street and the Stadium with Amerikis Street, as well as in Omonia Square, by throwing stones and other objects, with the willing police forces to make use of the necessary means. So far, 26 people have been brought in, of which two have been arrested and the case is handled by the State Security Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directorate.

Three arrests were made for eepisodes that occurred which were caused, last night, at center of Thessaloniki, after the end of the march for the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Kostas Frangoulis by a police officer of the DIAS group. during the pursuit.

These are three young people (ages 18, 21, and 22 years old), who are being taken to the criminal prosecution prosecutor with the case filed against them. An additional 32 arrests were made by the police. All were released as nothing was brought against them.
