Tragedy occurred at noon on Wednesday, December 14, in Chalkiopoulos Valtos, Amfilochia Municipality, when, according to information from karvasaras.gr, a man was shot dead while hunting.
In particular, a group of friends was allegedly hunting wild boar in the Selevistes area, a few kilometers outside the village, when, under circumstances that are being investigated by the police, the 60-year-old A.K., well-known in the area, was shot dead.
The 49-year-old FN, a well-known local professional, has been arrested for the incident, who is said to be the one who pulled the trigger, resulting in the 60-year-old’s death in this accident during the hunt.
His lifeless body was taken to the Chalkiopoulos Health Center where unfortunately he was pronounced dead.
