The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs clarifies that no further extension will be granted
On Tuesday, December 20, at 12:00, the new deadline for the completion of the digital inventory process of working hours in the “ERGANI II” Information System by all private sector employers for all of their employees with a wage-dependent contract work.
At the same time, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs clarifies that no further extension will be given, given that the original deadline expired on November 30.
Since November 1, when the system was opened, registrations have been made for 1,697,775 workers out of a total of 2,414,721 workers, for whom there is an obligation to register (70.2% of the total). Accordingly, today, out of a total of 288,121 businesses, 237,183 businesses were registered (a rate of 82.3%). In other words, the vast majority of both businesses and employees have registered.
In this context, the remaining companies that have not been inventoried and their accountants are invited to take the necessary actions in order to complete the digital inventory of working time on time. Process that is the previous stage for the full implementation of the Digital Work Card mechanism to all business sectors and employees, in the order of priority, which has already been announced by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and after dialogue, so that they are taken into account the operating characteristics of individual branches and professions.
