By order of the head of the Anti-Money Laundering Authority, the property of Father Antonios, his elder sister and two other persons of the Ark of the World was frozen.
In particular, the former deputy prosecutor of the Supreme Court and head of the Anti-Money Laundering Authority, Mr. Vourliotis, forwarded to the Athens District Attorney’s Office the conclusion of the investigation by the Authority on the Ark of the World, as there are indications of serious criminal acts committed by Father Antonio, the elders Stamatias Georgantis and two of their associates.
Specifically, in accounts and real estate, there are serious indications of the commission of the crimes of money laundering, embezzlement and infidelity.
The couple allegedly lived with money from the NGO, while at the same time there are real estate purchases by father Antonio that are considered suspicious, while “suspicious” amounts are said to have arisen for only two persons.
The conclusion has already been sent to the First Instance Prosecutor’s Office and will be related to the case file that is in the hands of prosecutor Ioannis Sevis.
