The commitment of the government that the economy will not close again, emphasizing that 2022 will be much better for the Greeks was repeated by the Deputy Minister of Interior, Stelios Petsas.
Speaking to SKAI and the show “Kalimera”, he noted that the measures that have been implemented all this time have paid off in terms of both the increase in vaccinations and the sharp drop in cases, and it takes a little patience for the hard indicators to fall, ie the number of intubations and deaths.
“What will allow us to have a much better 2022 is the fact that the economy will not have to close again and that is why I am very optimistic after the budget is passed. “What will come for the Greeks next year will be much better”, he pointed out and added that the economy this year will exceed all expectations thanks to the trust that has been built and “we will be able to give a fair dividend to the citizens in need”.
Commenting on the financial measures announced yesterday by Kyriakos Mitsotakis for the relief of households, he stressed that the subsidy on electricity bills from 49.5-55.5 euros per month is a significant amount that keeps the pressure felt by households.
