The initiative is part of the ongoing care, but also of the essential recognition of the work of our teachers, who perform a special function and offer their best in the educational process.

Discounts on the tickets of substitute teachers who serve in education structures of the country’s islands and want to go to their places of permanent residence for the holidays, will be provided by ferry companies.

Following the initiative of the Ministries of Shipping and Education & Religious Affairs, substitute teachers and professors will be offered a discount on their individual tickets as well as their vehicle tickets (cars and two-wheelers), for the period from 20/12/2022 to 09/01/2022 2023, which will cover the movement of teachers to and from the island where they have undertaken service.
