Which Mustang Mach-E features are controlled via mobile phone

by

The development of technology allows the control and management of many functions of the car from the mobile phone. Now, the car is easier to use and ensures better management of the energy required to move the cars. In particular, new purely electric cars provide many possibilities to reduce electricity even for the ideal temperature in the car cabin.

The new all-electric Mustang Mach-E has the pre-conditioning function through the FordPass application. Specifically, the driver has the ability to set the time of his next departure and choose in advance the ideal temperature in the cabin, depending on weather conditions.

In this way, the temperature of the interior of the pure electric car is regulated while the car is being charged by the mains. This ensures that the electricity required for the desired temperature in the cabin is received from the mains without overloading the battery and with this operation, which requires a significant amount of electricity.

When the car is started, all the electricity stored in the battery is used to move the car to zero emissions.

The new Mustang Mach-E offers other technologies that facilitate its use and increase safety rates.

Using a mobile phone as a key – Phone As A Key (PAAK). Access to the interior of the car is easy with the adoption of Phone As A Key technology that makes its debut in the Ford range, with the new Mustang Mach-E.

Using Bluetooth technology, the car detects the owner’s smartphone as it approaches the vehicle and automatically unlocks the doors. It also allows the electric motor to start without the owner having to take his phone out of his pocket or use the car key.

If the mobile phone is fully discharged or lost, the driver may alternatively enter a security code on the touchpad in the middle of the vehicle, as well as a separate seven-digit code (up to five users) on the central touch screen inside for starting the car.

Also, this technology activates the individual settings of each driver, before he even enters the car, so that he does not have to waste extra time adjusting the vehicle. The vehicle is ready – each time – to start automatically adjusting the settings of each user.

The new Mustang Mach-E has an output of up to 351 hp and a purely electric range of up to 610 km (WLTP).

With the help of the FordPass application, the driver has remote access to information about the battery charge and the remaining autonomy of the car, but plans the desired charging hours to take advantage of any discounts applicable at night, while ensuring the necessary autonomy to complete their next trip or journey.
