The Municipality of Athens invites the citizens to participate in the event full of sparkle and optimism and enjoy the Christmas extravaganza in the decorated square of the town hall, on Saturday, at 6 pm. and together with the mayor of Athens, Costas Bakoyannis to light up the sky of the city with their wishes.
The mayor Kostas Bakoyiannis in a statement-invitation to the citizens of Athens expresses his excitement that after three years “we will celebrate Christmas Eve as befitting” and invites them “to live together this magical spectacle, which symbolizes more than all joy and optimism. May the sky of Athens be filled again this year with our warmest wishes for peace, love and hope.”
The festive atmosphere will culminate with a Christmas party organized by the municipality, one hour earlier in Kotzia Square, with the radio station Pepper 96.6 and the producers Yiannis Kastanakis and Kosmas Develekas opposite the town hall inviting everyone to a Christmas dance with selected holiday music.
