Serious charges against six 15-year-olds – Two more involved in the horrific act have been identified
On the morning of Wednesday 21/12, the Athens security sub-directorate proceeded to arrest six minor boys, who are involved in a case of raping another minor boy. All seven children are aged 15.
As stated in the announcement of the Ministry of Citizen Protection:
The Athens Security Sub-Directorate arrested six (6) minors in the early hours of yesterday, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, for the rape of a minor.
At their expense, as well as at the expense of two more minors, whose details have been identified, a case file was filed – as the case may be – for a gang that committed rape, as an accomplice and as a follow-up, pornography of minors as well as for violating the laws on drugs and the weapons.
They are accused of having committed these acts at least from the beginning of November 2022 until the beginning of December 2022, at the expense of a minor.
In searches carried out in their homes, mobile phones, precision scales, a nylon package with 5.12 grams of cannabis, a metal grater with cannabis residue and other items related to the case were found and confiscated.
The arrested were taken to the competent Prosecutor, while the investigations into the identification of other members of the gang continue.
