The Archbishop attended the Christmas celebration of the kindergartens “Evangelismos tis Theotokou” and “Zoodochos Pigi” in Delesi, which operate under the responsibility of the Bafiadakei Foundation.
His Beatitude was accompanied by the archdeacon Fr. Ioannis Boutsis and the Director of Taxation of the National Bank of Greece and a member of the Board of Directors attended. of Vafiadakei, Mrs. Petroe Daskaleas, the Director of the Center for Ecclesiastical Ministry of Oinophyton, Mrs. Sofia Liapi and dozens of parents. The presentation of the event was made by the Director of the Kindergartens, Mrs. Aikaterini Rapti, who invited everyone to truly live Christmas and follow the spirit of the days.
In his greeting, Mr. Daskaleas congratulated the director and manager of the educational program, Mrs. Rapti, and the teachers, emphasizing that the Stations in question are a model for the specific educational level.
The children presented the play “The fourth magician”, which tells the story of a fourth magician, who did not make it to the Nativity and was searching all his life for the incarnate Lord. Eventually, he met Him along the way, helping his fellow men.
The event was closed with a greeting by His Beatitude, who emphasized that children are the future of this place, they are the hope for a better tomorrow, while he congratulated all the contributors of this event. He likened the specific projects, the daycare centers, to the “grooves”, which the Church carves to “pass the water” and “make this place more fertile”.
