The action of a criminal organization, which committed robberies mainly against minor pedestrians in various areas of Attica, was dismantled by the Southeastern Attica Security Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directorate.
The members of the gang were identified, specifically 5 people, of which 4 were minors, and a case file was filed against them for criminal organization-gang, robberies committed in an attempt as an accomplice and as a follow-on, while a case file was also filed against 6 parents of the minor defendants. , for neglecting their supervision.
As it emerged from the thorough and careful investigation of the pre-investigation agency, in October 2022, the defendants had set up and joined a criminal group with continuous action and distinct roles to commit robberies against minors in areas of Attica.
How did they act?
Regarding the mode of action (modus operandi), the members of the gang, moving by car during the evening hours, looked for young people who were moving on foot. As soon as they found their victims, two or more of the gang members would approach them and, taking advantage of their numerical superiority, exercise physical violence, immobilize them and take money, mobile phones and personal belongings from them.
From the investigation so far, four (4) cases of robbery have been solved in the areas of Argyroupoli, Palaio Faliro and Dafni.
