It is worth noting that according to the update during this period, among others, the structures of Piraeus, Chios and Volos were staffed with social workers, the process of streamlining the administrative structure of the organization is in full progress, while in collaboration with an international company of certified accountants is implemented financial control.

At the same time, the procedures for licensing the operation of the structures are progressing while the registration of the movable and immovable property available to the organization is in progress.

The temporary Administration of the “Ark of the World” completes a month and a half since assuming its duties with its main concern being to ensure a climate of stability and safety for the children accommodated in its structures across the Greek territory.

In this context, the temporary Administration of “Kivotos” during this time:

– She made her visits to all local structures of the organization in order to get to know the hosted children up close and to discuss with the managers and staff of each shelter.
– Recorded the needs of all structures and met their immediate needs for food, fuel and equipment in order to ensure their smooth operation.
– He proceeded to record the human potential of the structures.
– Identified needs for specialized personnel to ensure the proper daily operation of all structures as well as their scientific framing, based on international pedagogical protocols and the operating protocols of child protection structures.
– Recruited administrative staff and a social service manager.
– Staffed the structures of Piraeus, Chios and Volos with social workers.
– Started the process of streamlining the administrative structure of the organization.

Celebrating Christmas with the Ark children

On Thursday, December 22, the children of Kivotos proved that they are real protagonists not only in life but also on stage, unfolding their talent in theater, dance and song.

In the same atmosphere, on the roof of the Ark that hosts minor refugees with their families from the war-torn Ukraine, Christmas was celebrated observing the traditions of their country and exchanging warm wishes and gifts.

The temporary Administration of the Ark distributed gifts to all the children who are accommodated and participate in the daily programs of the organization, with a view to the smooth educational operation of the structures and the smooth continuation of the children’s daily life.
