The 21 arrested who attempted to retake Terra Incognita in Thessaloniki were released.

The prosecutor prosecuted them as a misdemeanor.

The hearing of the case was adjourned until January 13 due to a lack of witnesses at Autoforo.

Those arrested are charged with disobedience, disturbing the peace, unlawful violence, violation of the Public Buildings Act together. One of them is accused of attempted simple bodily harm.

As it turned out, the arrested are 21, and among them 13 men and eight women (among them an Italian national). During the police operation to prevent the occupation of the building (it is located at the junction of Taskos Papageorgiou and Olympos streets, in the center of Thessaloniki) eight other people were brought in and eventually released, since nothing came of them.

The criminal prosecution prosecutor charged the 21 arrested with disturbing the peace, infidelity, illegal violence and violation of the Public Property Act. In addition, one of them is being prosecuted for attempted simple bodily harm.

The Court adjourned the case until January 13, because there were no police witnesses and lifted – automatically – the detention for everyone.

Outside the Thessaloniki Courthouse, people from the broader anti-authoritarian scene had gathered from early on, shouting slogans of support for the accused.
