Work will be carried out to install impact energy absorption systems (S.A.E.P.), during the period from 16/01/2023 to 23/03/2023
THE Attica Traffic announced that temporary traffic arrangements will be made on the Athens-Thessaloniki-Evzona (ATH) highway, in the areas of the Municipalities of Metamorfosi – Kifissia – Dionysos and Oropos and in both traffic streams.
Specifically due to the installation of impact energy absorption systems (S.A.E.P.), during the period from 16/01/2023 to 23/03/2023, with the exception of the period from 24/02/2023 to 27 /02/2023, where no work will be carried out, the following traffic arrangements will be in place:
PHASE A
S.A.E.P position – X.Th. 16+730 traffic flow towards Athens
Blocking the emergency lane and the left part of the exit branch to Lamia.
S.A.E.P position X.Th. 16+600 traffic flow towards Lamia
Occupancy of part of the blockade surface and the left exit branch towards Lamia at Tatoiou A/C.
-The above works will be carried out between 22:00 and 06:00 of the following day, from Monday to Saturday.
PHASE B
Placement of SAEP and Joints in CH.Th. 16+600 traffic flow towards Lamia
Occupancy of part of the right traffic lane and the left part of the exit branch towards Lamia on the Tatoiou A/C, with the parallel configuration of an appropriate acceleration and entry lane from the junction of Attica Odos, as well as a deceleration lane for the exit of the Tatoiou A/C in the direction to Lamia.
Other traffic arrangements in both traffic streams:
– Blocking the right lane of traffic
– Blocking the left part of the output branch
– Blocking the right traffic lane at the A/K height
– Blocking the Emergency Lane
The above works will be carried out as follows:
Traffic flow to Athens
During the hours of 22:00 to 06:00 of the following day, from Monday to Saturday
Traffic flow to Lamia
During the hours of 22:00 to 06:00 of the following day, from Monday to Friday.
Drivers of vehicles are requested to be particularly careful when passing through the work sites and to follow the existing road markings.
