by

He is a physiotherapist posing as a neurologist who is alleged to have defrauded 15 people, most of them multiple sclerosis patients. Five patients died

Yet a case of a bogus doctor brings to light SKAI. He is a physical therapist who pretended to be a neurologist and claimed to be able to treat patients with multiple sclerosis. He even administered treatments with drugs and all this of course with the indemnity.

An investigation began in December 2020 when the patient’s brother from Thessaloniki reported the 65-year-old fake doctor to the police officers of the Countering Organized Crime sub-directorate.

The patient suffered from multiple sclerosis and the fake doctor, who claimed to be a neurologist instead of a physiotherapist, had already suggested stem cell treatment to him in 2015. The patient’s health deteriorated, and he finally died a few months later.

In December of the same year, the patient’s brother denounced the action of the fake doctor.

From an investigation by Thessaloniki Security officials into the Police file, it emerged that a case had already been filed against the suspect in 2019 for fraud.

He had withdrawn 135,000 euros in order to allegedly apply stem cell therapy to a young woman suffering from multiple sclerosis.

Following this, it was decided to conduct an investigation, which was undertaken by the Organized Crime sub-directorate.

All in all, the bogus doctor behaves to have defrauded 15 people, most patients with multiple sclerosis.

In fact, five patients died and therefore the case file that has reportedly been filed against the 65-year-old concerns, in addition to the crime of fraud, that of serial homicide

In order to lend credibility to the scam the fake doctor was working with a doctor in Stuttgart.

He traveled with the patients to Germany ostensibly for specialized tests, and then offered them stem cell therapy.

For each stem cell injection they charged from 10,000 to 25,000 euros depending on the economic surface of the victims. He received 1 million euros

The vials that were found and checked as part of the investigation turned out not to have any kind of medicinal substance.

A felony case has been filed for the case and developments are expected in the next few days.
