The court imposed on the 39-year-old porter a total prison sentence of 280 years and a total fine of 1,377,000 euros

Heavy penalties for three involved, including a porterimposed on Thursday night by the three-member appeals court of Dodecanese, on felonies related to the case of the migrant trafficking ring from Turkey to Greece.

Specifically, the court imposed on the 39-year-old porter a total prison sentence of 280 years and a total monetary fine of 1,377,000 euros, on his Palestinian co-accused a total prison sentence of 272 years and a total monetary fine of 1,364,000 euros and on the 28-year-old Albanian a total prison sentence of 27 years and a total fine of 111,000 euros. Under current law, any convicted will serve 20 years, while all are sent to prison, since their appeals according to the court’s decision, have no deterrent force

It is recalled that in addition to the three men, the case file that has been filed also includes one more foreigner from Palestine, who is even alleged to be the leader of the organization, however he evades arrest and is being sought.
