See what condition the court imposed on the director
Free, but with the condition that he must abstain from any activity of an artistic nature, the director Kostas Kostopoulos was let go, after his apology for rape.
The director, who last May announced his resignation from the direction of the popular TV series “Sasmos” because of the case, faced the Justice when he was sued by the actress Elena Athanasopoulou last April.
The actress mentions in her lawsuit that in 2010 the accused, after a dinner they had, drove her in his car to a secluded spot and raped her.
A public prosecutor’s investigation was conducted into the case, which last October resulted in the director being charged.
Apologizing, Mr. Kostopoulos allegedly denied the accusation saying that the actress is lying for publicity reasons. He also reportedly maintains that he had a casual acquaintance with the alleged victim and nothing else.
