The 62-year-old, as co-owner of a private medical services business, continuously issued bad checks to pay off the company’s financial obligations
At arrest of a 62-year-old woman against whom 38 convictions were pending with a total prison sentence of 379 months and a fine of 3,300 euros, police officers of the Investigations Department of the Attica Security Directorate proceeded to Paania yesterday.
The 62-year-old has been convicted for the offenses of violating the check legislation, issuing bad checks, failing to pay accrued wages to employees, failing to pay employer insurance contributions and failing to pay employee insurance contributions.
Specifically, the 62-year-old, as co-owner of a private medical services company, continuously issued bad checks to pay off the company’s financial obligations.
In addition, it failed to timely pay the accrued wages to its employees, the employer’s contributions to the insurance bodies, as well as the workers’ insurance contributions.
The arrested was driven to the competent Prosecutor.
