“Grava’s iconic school complex is becoming greener and safer for students. The specific projects financed by the district benefit the students of the Municipalities of Athens and Galatsi, where the complex belongs spatially, as well as the citizens of the wider region. Consistently serving our vision for a “green” Attica, we are building a healthier region with actions and not with words,” said the regional governor. Mr. Patoulis praised the excellent cooperation between the two levels of Self-Government with the KTYP, pointing out that in this context the utilization of European financial tools will continue, because “we are interested in implementing projects with a strong environmental footprint and at the same time offer its children Attica better and safer schools”.

The managing director of KTYP SA, Th. Giannaris, spoke about an “ambitious program to build new, modern school units and to upgrade and modernize the existing schools in Attica”, while the specific project, as he said, is an important bet for KTYP, as “this is the largest school complex in the country, the implementation of which reflects our strong will and our orientation towards upgrading the education infrastructure and the level of public education”.
