In spontaneous arrest of a 21-year-old involved in robberies in the city center, police officers of the White Tower Security Department proceeded.
This is a 21-year-old Greek man against whom a case file was filed for serial robberies and violation of the Weapons Law.
In particular, in the early morning hours of 04-02-2023, the 21-year-old entered a convenience store and with the threat of a knife took 200 euros from the store employee, while a few hours later he took 1,500 euros from the OPAP agency in the same way.
The 21-year-old was arrested yesterday at noon on Sunday in the area of ​​the Municipality of Lagadas, while in an investigation carried out at his house, the items of clothing he was wearing during the robberies were found and confiscated.
In addition, as it emerged from the investigation, on 15-01-2023, the above took the sum of 400 euros from an employee of a health care store, with the threat of using a sharp object.
The arrested person will be taken to the competent Prosecutor.
