Kapravelos-SKAI: The next patient will be intubated in the hospital parking lot

by

Nikos Kapravelos, Director of the 2nd Infirmary of Papanikolaou Hospital, raised the issue of extending the obligation of vaccinations while speaking on SKAI TV and the show “Simera”.

“The obligation of vaccination will save us,” said Mr. Kapravelos, pointing out that the expansion could be done both in age and in categories.

“Closing schools and the economy are collateral losses,” he added.

As Mr. Kapravelos explained, other countries are not worried because they have created this pillow, especially the third installment.

Wanting to describe the situation in the hospitals, Mr. Kapravelos stated that “the next patient in Papanikolaou will be intubated in the corridor and the next in the parking lot of the hospital”

The situation in the health system does not allow for any complacency, he stressed, noting the need to limit human activity.

According to Mr. Kapravelos, what he cares about is how this tsunami will translate into morbidity.

At the same time, he characterized the measures that were announced “temporarily covering up at the moment, there will be an end to the pandemic but we will be at the same point again with the next mutation”.

We need to get into the third dose and expand the vaccination, he concluded.
