The platform for extending the special maternity protection provision from 6 to 9 months has been opened

The platform for submitting declarations for the extension of the special provision of maternity protection from 6 to 9 months has opened, through the Unified Digital Portal of the Public Administration (gov.gr).

The declaration must be submitted by all beneficiaries with start dates of the special maternity protection leave from 26.05.2022 to 24.11.2022, regardless of whether they have already sent a relevant electronic message or whether they have submitted a relevant declaration to the DYPA services.

The statement can be accessed with the TaxisNet codes HERE.

Beneficiaries should indicate in the declaration when they received or will receive the extension of the special maternity protection leave, i.e. a) either following its initial expiration, b) or after the insertion of normal leave in 2022, c) or after the mediation of actual of work to the employer, also recording the exact periods of regular leave or actual work.

Specifically, the attached Responsible Statement should state:

“I wish to extend the Special Maternity Protection Benefit:

1) in continuation of the original expiry thereof or
2) after inserting the regular leave of the year 2022, which was taken or will be taken from ……. until ……. the
3) after providing real work to the employer by ……. until …….
