The prosecutor’s motion accepted by the judges deemed the restrictive conditions sufficient to ensure the presence of Filippidis in the second degree.
To remain free until the Court of Appeal decided for Petros Filippidis, the Mixed Jury Court adopted the proposal of the Prosecutor who requested that the appeal of the person sentenced to 8 years in prison for two attempted rapes should have suspensive force.
The court set restrictive conditions for the actor by imposing a ban on leaving the country and an obligation to appear at regular intervals at the Police Department of his place of residence.
The prosecutor’s motion accepted by the judges deemed the restrictive conditions sufficient to ensure the presence of Filippidis in the second degree.
“He is not suspected of fleeing, he is not a fugitive from justice, he is not a fugitive and he is not dangerous for the commission of criminal acts. The alleged acts had as a common denominator the theater and the television which is no longer friendly to him” said Ms. Stella Stoya which added that apologizing and the actor himself stated in his apology that he does not wish to be in these places again.
“The restrictive conditions are enough, he is not in a position of power to take advantage of his position. To give suspensive power to the appeal” concluded the Prosecutor.
