Beer carnival lovers will be able to unite these two passions this Saturday (11), in the midst of a rich schedule of pre-Carnival blocks.
The main brewery address in the city, Empório Alto dos Pinheiros will be the meeting point for the Fabulous Bloco Amèlie Pulando, this Saturday (11), which features the Quartier Latin band performing French classics in Brazilian Carnival rhythms.
The block leaves at 2 pm in front of the bar, so it is possible to arrive a little earlier and warm up with a cold one. Until 7 pm, Amèlie Pulando passes through some streets in Pinheiros and ends at Rua Ferreira de Araújo.
Also in Pinheiros, more precisely in Largo da Batata, the recently inaugurated Hocus Pocus debuts at the pre-Carnival de São Paulo this Saturday (11) to the sound of Unidos do Swing, which mixes jazz with carnival marches.
Inside the bar, from 12:00 to 24:00, there will be no shortage of beer on the 18 taps, including suggestions such as Mana (German Pils) and Orange Sunshine (American blonde ale with orange). The expectation is to receive 300 people throughout the day.
Casa Avós, in Vila Ipojuca, once again houses Bailes da Véia, which had been absent since 2020 due to the pandemic. The samba rhythm is on account of the group Reduto, this Saturday, from 16h.
The great brewery has already announced the schedule for next week, with Paula Soto on Friday (17th) and Boêmios da Ipojuca releasing the Carnival scream on Saturday (18th).
This year, the street Carnival in São Paulo will have a search for those who pass through areas isolated by bars. And for anyone thinking of enjoying the city’s megablocks, pay attention to the Prohibition blitzes.
