Police officers immediately arrested the two perpetrators of the attack, who will be taken to the Prosecutor’s Office
Two men attacked and beat a bus driver yesterday afternoon in the center of Thessaloniki.
Under unclear circumstances, a 48-year-old Algerian and a 49-year-old Palestinian punched and kicked a 62-year-old KTEL bus driver who was on duty, on 26th of October street.
Police officers of the DI.AS team. proceeded to the spontaneous arrest of the two perpetrators of the attack, who will be taken to the Prosecutor. Finally, a forensic examination was ordered.
The announcement of the General Police Directorate of Thessaloniki regarding the episode:
“Dias police officers proceeded to the spontaneous arrest of two foreigners aged 48 and 49, as they were involved in an attack against a bus driver.
Specifically, yesterday afternoon (12-02-2023), the aforementioned men, for an as yet unknown reason, hit a 62-year-old bus driver on duty in the body and head.
The perpetrators, with the case filed against them, were taken to the competent Prosecutor.
