The maximum amount of the dangerous and unhealthy work allowance for those employed in the health sector is increased to 200 euros.

For the first time, from 1.1.2023, a dangerous and unhealthy work allowance will be paid to hospital workers, specialties such as psychologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, pharmacist assistants, dental technicians and health supervisors, as well as related specialties employed in the AEMY, the EODY, the National Blood Donation Center , at OKANA, KETHEA, the National Rehabilitation Center, the Hellenic Mental Health and Research Center and the Child Health Institute.

In particular, from 1.1.2023, a monthly allowance for dangerous and unhealthy work for employees of the Ministry of Health and the supervised entities is determined as follows:

a) A΄ Category: €200 (from €150, which was valid until now),

b) Category B: €165 (from €105),

c) 3rd Category: €150 (from €70),

d) D’ Category: €105 (from €35),

e) Εth Category: €70 (from €30).

In more detail:

> The nurses of the institutions that are now subject to the beneficiaries of the dangerous and unhealthy work allowance will receive 200 euros per month with an income benefit of 2,400 euros per year

> Physiotherapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, pharmacist assistants, dental technicians are classified in category C and will receive for the first time the allowance of 150 euros per month with an income benefit of 1,800 euros per year

> Technical staff of hospitals

specific specialties of beneficiaries are identified, in which a higher allowance is now paid, from 70 euros to 150 euros, with an income benefit of 960 euros per year.

The categorization was made with the exclusive criterion of the duties of the employees.
